Today, I visited “Chuukasoba Aoba” which had been selected as one of the restaurants in the section of Bib Gourmand of the Michelin Guide Tokyo 2015. It would not be exaggerating to say that this ramen chain, which had more than 20 shops all over Japan, triggered so called “Ramen Boom” with some other ramen shops. It is located on 8th Floor of Shinjuku Annex and you can reach there with 1 minutes walk from Shinjuku 3chome station.
I arrived there 11:46a.m., 16 minutes past opening. I bought a ticket of Chuukasoba(¥730) from vending machine and enter into the shop. There was not any guest. Here came ramen in 5 minutes.
Noodle was middle thick and straight, Smooth to swallow in. Soup was made of fish and animal. Fish taste came first, then animal taste came after. Delicious!!! You would always find it delicious. Why don’t you come in?
