“Fuunji”Great ramen shop where you could enjoy both good taste and good service

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAToday, I visited “Fuunji” which was the most popular ramen shop in Shinjuku. It is located 7~8 minute walk from south outlet of Shinjyuku station. I arrived there 30 minutes before its opening. There were not anybody there, so I spent some time at Starbucks nearby and came back around 10 minutes before its opening. The shop was opened at that time and there was one guest inside.
I bought a ticket of “Special Tsukemen(¥1,000)” and waited around 5 minutes before a dish came.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASpecial Tsukemen (¥1,000). You could make it large for free. There were egg, seaweeds, bamboo shoots, welsh onions and roasted pork fillets.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERANoodles were medium thick and strengthened with cold water. There was little water in the bowl after I finished up noodles. Noodles had very chewy texture. Flavor of wheat stimulated my appetite.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASoup was very rich W soup with chicken and fish. Rich taste and sourness stipulated my appetite. I knew the reason why this ramen shop was the most popular one in Shinjyuku.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAFinally, I had soup with boiled water. It was also very delicious.

When I was going out of the shop, a person in charge said, “We are waiting for your next visit”. I could have very comfortable time there. I would like to visit sometime in the near future again.
