Today, I visited “Tachigui Midori Echika Ikebukuroten”. It is located in Echika directly connected to Ikebukuro station. This is a stand-up sushi bar within a group of very popular Midorizushi which is famous for having long line of waiting people.
I arrived there at 10:45, 15 minutes before its opening with strong determination but found no one waiting in line. There were around 10 people waiting in line at opening.
When I entered the shop, “Weekdays limited lunch(￥500)” in a menu on a wall attracted my eyes. Just ￥500? Really? This should be the one to order.
Here came the one in 5 minutes.
There were an egg, salmon roes, a sardine, a cuttlefish, a tuna, a greater amberjack, a salmon and a shrimp. In addition, miso soup was there. I was really satisfied by paying only ￥500. I also ordered 2 pieces of sushi which I really would like to have.
