Today, I visited “Torinoana”. It is located 5~6 minute walk from east outlet of Ikebukuro station. I arrived there at 11:17, 17 minutes after its opening. It was almost full inside. There wasn’t any line of waiting people, but people were coming one after another.
I sat at the table with a ticket bought out of a vending machine and found a menu there. These were so called ordinary dishes, but there also were seasonal dishes introduced on a vending machine.
Here came ramen in 5 minutes.
Today, I ordered white broth ramen(¥700). Toppings were roasted chicken fillets, welsh onions (2 kinds), chicken soboro and bamboo shoots.
Noodles were medium thick and straight. They were chewy and good match with a soup. A white broth soup was like a potage and had sweetness and rich taste. Roasted chicken fillets, chicken soboro and bamboo shoots had strong taste and showed clear contrast against noodles.
I would like to try a red hot chicken ramen next time.
