Today, I visited “Kugatsudo”. It was located 8~9 minutes from Shibuya station.
Outside signboard showed interior of the shop. It was not like a ramen shop but like a fashionable café. On the menu, there were parfaits and dim sums in addition to ramens.
I found a set menu of a ramen and small sweets. When I passed a ticket to a person in charge, he asked me if I chose to make a ramen large for free, which was a special service on weekdays. I answered yes, but regreted a little bit afterward. In due course, ramen came.
The price of the set was \930. In this set menu, you could choose one of three, that was, light ramen, rich ramen and tsukemen. I chose light ramen. Toppings were green spring onions, fine strip of leeks, yuzu, roasted pork fillets, bamboo shoots and cubic rice cracker.
Noodles were medium thin and straight. Soup was based on soy sauce, which had strong flavor of dried bonito and dried small sardine. It was so called Japanese style and rich. Cubic rice cracker and yuzu gave interesting addition to a ramen.
Sweets came after I finished ramen.
Vanilla and Macha ice cream, fresh cream, red bean paste. In addition to that, a mint was on the top of one. I knew that ramen and sweet match very well this time.
There were lunch drinks and you could smoke here. If you would like to enjoy both ramen shop and café at the same time. This shop was surely a best choice.
