Today, I visited “Tendon Kaneko Hannosuke”, which always had a long line of waiting people. It was located 1~2 minutes from Mitsukoshiekimae station.
I had been tried to visit there several times at lunch time but had given up having seen a long line of waiting people.
Recently, one of my friends who was working in Nihombashi, kindly advised that the restaurant was not that crowded at dinner time. Therefore, today, I visited there around 19:00.
This time, I found only 8 people were in line. I could enter the restaurant in about 10 minutes.
Oho,,,,,! What was this? A conger eel Tempura was so big that it was out of a bowl. Ingredients of tempura were two shrimps, a sweet pepper, a seaweed, a squid, a conger eel and an egg. Tempura batter was a little bit firm and flavory. You could enjoy taste of ingredients themselves since sauce had light taste. This Tendon was a little bit too big, so this light taste meant something..
It’s always crowed too much at lunch time. However, there must be a good chance to have a Tendon easier at dinner time. Why don’t you try?
