Today, I visited “Nanakura”. It was located on 2nd floor of Shimbashi Ekimae building, which was 1 minute walk from Shimbashi station. There was a “Tanuko”(a statue of a raccoon dog) in front of the building.
I arrived there at 11:00. There were 4 people in line. The restaurant opened at 11:13. I looked back at that time and found 20 people were behind me. There was a cashier counter at entrance. You were requested to order and pay in advance there. Then, you were escorted to the table. Udon came to me in around 5 minutes.
A dip was sesame base and hot. There were welsh onions and Japanese gingers in a dip. According to my preliminary research through its homepage, soup stock was made from dried bonito, celery and duck, etc.
I put noodles deep in the dip and ate them all. Delicious!! Flavor of sesame and flavor and taste of soup stock came all at once. Welsh onions and Japanese gingers also played very good roles. I could not stop eating. I have finished them all at once. I deeply regretted not to have ordered a large one.
A friend of mine told me that this restaurant also serve delicious roast beef. I would like to visit there again at dinner time.
