Today, I visited a long standing Japanese soba restaurant, “Muromachi Sunaba” established in 1869. It was located a few minutes walk from Mitsukoshimae station. I entered the shop at 11:30, its opening time. Businessmen were coming into the shop one after another.
Luckily, I sat at table where you could see courtyard. Could be relaxed.
This shop was famous for introducing Ten (Tempura)Mori, but Today, I would like to enjoy soba itself, so I ordered Large zarusoba (¥950). Here came one in 5 minutes.
So called Sarashina soba was white and looked cool.
First, I tasted just soba. Smooth and firm. Flavor came when I bit through.
Then I had with dip of soy sauce. Dip was salty but not so much as “Namikiyabusoba” and “Azumabashiyabusoba”, both of which I visited the other day. Deep and delicious dip it was.
Last pleasure to me. To have dip with sobayu. Recently, I prefer to have welsh onion with this soup. This time, I confirmed my preference.
I would like to have Ten mori next time.
Gochisousamadeshita!
