Today, myself and Mr, Dodgers visited long standing Japanese soba shop,“Yabukyu”, which established in 1902. It was located 1~2 minutes walk from Nihonbashi station. It was around 12:25, we could enter the shop without waiting probably because it was Saturday. It was hot today, then what should we order?
Mr. Dodgers, “It’s hot and humid today. I’ll have a cold soba.”
Kojio chan replied, “I preferred to have a hot one and become sweaty in such a weather. Oh! There is Curry Nanban. I7ll have one.”
Mr.Dodgers, ”I’d like to order Black Natto soba. I’m interested in Black Natto.”
With such a conversation, I took a look at menu and found Curry soba has 3 level of hotness and 2 choice of ingredients(chicken+scallion or pork+onion). It was rare to find such a variety of Curry soba in Japanese soba shop.
I ordered Curry soba (medium hot, pork+onion)(￥1,080) and Mr.Dodgers ordered Black Natto soba(￥1,080). Dishes came almost in 15 minutes.
After that, we talked about “Soba” for a while with soba tea.
