Today, I visited “Okonomiyaki Kiji Marunouchiten” which was famous and popular in Osaka, the home of Okonomiyaki. It was located at Tokyo building TOKIA B1F, which directly connected to Tokyo station through underpass.
I arrived there at 10:35, 25 minutes before its opening. There came 8 guests at opening.
A kote and chopsticks were on a dish. You normally cut Okonomiyaki by a kote and eat with chopsticks. It is said eat only by a kote in Osaka.
I ordered Butatama(pork), the most popular one and gyuusuji(beef sinew).
Here came okonomiyaki in 20 minutes.
York of fried egg on okonomiyaki spilled over. Look tasty!
Really tasty!! Sweetness of beef sinew matched sweet and sour sauce. Soft taste of egg and texture of welsh onion made it a best one. I finished them all at once.
Then, butatama.
I noticed that I forgot to sprinkle green laver. It was also delicious!! Pork was burned well and crispy and okonomiyaki itself was very soft. Ooba which was inside okonomiyaki was fresh accent.
